Pennsylvania : Tourist Attractions

Pennsylvania can be divided into seven tourist regions. They are PA Great Lakes, PA Wilds, Northeast PA Mountains, Pittsburg and Countryside, Alleghenies and Valleys, Dutch Country Roads, and Philadelphia and Countryside.  Some of the major tourist attractions of Pennsylvania re listed below:
Independence National Historic Park - Philadelphia
This is the birthplace of our nation including the Independence Hall Museum, the Liberty Bell Museum, and the Independence Visitor Center.

Gettysburg is America's most visited battlefield. Besides the battlefield, there are numerous attractions and Civil War museums in Gettysburg and the surrounding area.

Drake Well Museum - Titusville This place is significant because it was the first oil well that was drilled for the purpose of finding oil.

Crayola FACTORY - Easton This is a discovery center for kids and family focusing on the Crayola brand.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom - Allentown is home to great coasters including Steel Force and Hercules.
